My story.

My love of storytelling began in Tokyo, while I was eating ramen and editing trailers for Japanese movies. One day I got a chance to direct a music video that ended up on MTV.

I signed with a production company, directed a bunch of spots, made a short that people really liked. But in the process, I realized the part of filmmaking I was most passionate about was editing. For me, editing is the most tactile part of visual storytelling - where everything comes together through the mysterious alchemy of sound, image, and time.

Since then I’ve cut spots in-house at agencies like McCann, Ogilvy, and Saatchi for some of the most well-known brands in the world.

From years of experience in production and post-production, I know how to take a project from boards all the way to screens. Helping support the creatives, director, and clients all along the way.

I’ve chosen to work on projects as diverse as possible - including comedy, animation, docs, and good old drama. Above all, I love working with awesome people and telling stories that spark joy.
